In the event of an accident or malfunction, leading to a thermal event in HV batteries, novaVOLT® products delay the burn-through of the battery cover, thereby preventing the escape of flames.

novaVOLT® AERO is a high-temperature-resistant, compressible, aerogel-filled insulation solution. It has been designed to mitigate or even prevent thermal propagation in HV battery assemblies. Due to its lightweight, thin-walled design, cell spacers and compression pads made of novaVOLT® AERO offer cutting-edge insulation and compression properties, making them ideal for applications where space and safety are critical factors.
