Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Dötsch is the new director of Frenzelit-Werke GmbH & Co. KG (Bad Berneck).
Dr Wolfgang Wagner, Frenzelit partner, has called the director of Fritsche, an affiliated company, back to the corporate headquarters and has given him overall responsibility not only for the roughly 400 employees at the Frankenhammer and Himmelkron production facilities in Germany but also for the subsidiaries and sales offices in the USA, Russia, the Czech Republic, China and India.
Frenzelit is a well-positioned, medium-sized company that is one of the market and innovation leaders in its specific segments, has been a global player for a long time now and still has ambitious targets that it plans to reach.

Experienced at “just right“
Thanks to the success he has achieved in various positions, most recently as director of Fritsche, Thomas Dötsch is excellently equipped for this assignment – in line with the new Frenzelit claim “... just right!“
Thomas Dötsch graduated in mechanical engineering in 1990. After two initial positions as a developer/designer with a manufacturer of special machines for ceramic materials and sintered metals and than as export manager for a manufacturer of hydraulic pumps and transport equipment, he joined Frenzelit in 2000.
His first assignments at the company were in the marketing and controlling field for the subsidiaries abroad, after which he managed several special projects in the area of production optimisation at various company locations.
Dötsch demonstrated his capabilities particularly convincingly, however, when he was appointed director of Fritsche GmbH & Co. KG, a company affiliated with Frenzelit, in 2001. With the help of a clear strategy, he and the whole of the company team turned the manufacturer of aramide fabrics round in an impressively dynamic performance. Fritsche is firmly established on the market today and has played a prominent role in setting major trends as the market and technology leader in Germany and Europe.
At the beginning of 2008, Thomas Dötsch then assumed overall responsibility for managing Frenzelit and its subsidiaries. We can look forward to seeing how Dötsch will be influencing the markets here.
